Maicey's Dance Competition!

Maicey had her first dance performance of the year, she looked so adorable and danced like a princess. She has really practiced hard thus far and it definitely showed in her dancing. Maicey loves to dance and she doesn't even get nervous before she performs, she would rather dance in front of a gym than in front of a small group. Way to go Maicey, we love to watch you dance!

*sorry about the video but little Vi kept moving around*

Shaving Cream Experiment

I remember when I was little playing with this stuff so I let the kids go at it. Violet ended up painting almost her whole body. I ended up having to go to a meeting so my wonderful husband put them in the bath and cleaned them off.

Gage's beloved silver tooth.

So here it is, Gage's first cavity and by the excitement of it you would think it was a good thing. I totally talked up the dentist so Gage wouldn't be scared and he did so good. He ended up having a root canal in the one tooth (same as Maicey's) and a couple other small decays. Gage was so brave and serious and complied with the dentist's requests. His dentist was great with kids and after Gage picked out his toy Violet hopped on the Dental chair and was ready for her turn so she could get a toy (Sorry Vi Gotta wait till next time!) Gage has been taking very good care of that silver tooth and at night when they brush he is the last one done because he is busy shining it up.

Bubbles, Bubbles, Everywhere!

This is what happens when you try to shampoo carpets with three kids running loose. It started with Violet tromping through all the fresh foam, me getting after them to stay off the floors or at least walk in the cracks, and this is how it ended. I figured I could either tell them no the whole time or let them in on the fun. They sure had fun, Violet was bathing in the bubbles and Gage and Maicey would just throw it around. It did make an extra amount of bubbles this time because I just used dish soap and I think I added too much but it turned out clean and it won't be long before I need to do it again.

home depot workshop

I wanted to try out the free home depot workshops and finally it worked out with my schedule. Gage wanted to do some errands with Jordan so me and the girls went and made wooden treasure boxes. The girls had a blast and luckily the kits were easy and fast enough for their interest. They even got some cute little aprons ta boot. Here are some pictures of them painting them when we got home:}

Violet's a big girl now!

I know I am not alone when I say, I hate the potty training process. After a couple of tries that I ended, I decided we both needed motivation. Who knew all Violet needed was a pack of strawberry shortcake panties and a jar full of skittles -- walla! Way To Go Vi!

My typical two year old!!

All the kids were asleep, so I thought. I heard something in the bathroom and when I came out this is what I found. The good thing is that it is conditioner not lotion so it washed right out, no detangler needed :)

Our Sweet Little Pumpkin

I just had to put these pictures of Vi on here, as you can see she will sleep right where she lands if she is tired enough. Violet was refusing to take a nap today (again), which ends up with falling asleep while eating dinner. The kids and I went for a walk today because it was so nice (okay, so it was mid 30 degrees) but we didn't need gloves and thermals so it was nice.
