California

We love our traditional Jones summer reunion at California. We have been staying at this particular KOA ever since I was a little kid. It has tons of fun activities for the kiddos. Everyone in my family was able to come this year except for Paul and Jordan, that means a total of 20 kids nine and under, it was a little crazy but definitely worth it. I just want to thank my Mom and Dad for keeping this tradition going.

The next few pictures were taken at a local park in San Diego. Ty and Tor and I went there on our free day and took the kids. Thanks for driving me and the kids we love the travel with you guys.

Catching some rays! Oh the kids LOVED the beach. Maicey was into finding seashells and sand dollars, Gage was found digging in the sand, and Violet was running away from the waves with Sienna.

As you can see Violet wasn't so sure about them.

Granny and Papa Jones'

Maicey and Bailee were so excited to see each other. They have always been good buddies and get along great. I believe they had sleepovers almost every night.

We stayed a couple night at Darin and Tami's and had so much fun hanging out. We went to the water park and had a movie night. Thanks for putting us up and showing us a good time.

Sienna and Violet are two of a kind and did most everything together.

At Granny and PaPa's the kids got rides with grandpa on his motorcycle. Violet didn't actually ride but I couldn't help get a picture.

Gage had a blast. He said they went soooo fast, don't know what it is with boys and their toys.

Grandma and Grandpa Doty's

Well I have been slacking on my blogging but this summer has been very eventful. The kids and I traveled to Nevada to see family and hit some family reunions. We stayed there about 5 weeks, too long to be away from Daddy. We were definitely thrilled to see him when we met up at Fish Lake. Here goes our Summer in a nut shell.

We went to Grandma and Grandpa Doty's house and the kids had a blast. There are animals all over the place fish, dog, horses, steer, a stray cat that hangs around (glowie), and the anticipation of 100+ quail egg (Colton's recent hobbie). Gage loved to help Grandpa with his rounds in the morning and I do believe the kids had their fair of cookies from the cookie jar (thanks Grandma!)

Wheeler Peak Doty Reunion

This year for the Doty Reunion we went to wheeler peak and camped. We had a fun time hanging out and we also checked out the Lehman Caves-it was pretty cool! We hiked to Stellar Lake, which is 2 miles total and Vi impressed us by hiking the WHOLE way. She was excited to hike to the top of the mountain and kept repeating that every few minutes. We didn't by far go to the very top but that was enough for me. The view was beautiful !

Maicey was collecting rocks the whole way up and back, not just little pebbles but huge ones. This rock in particular I tried to convince her to leave by the side and get it on the way back but she insisted on carrying it.
